This Refund Policy explains how Tech Horizons Club ("THC," "we," "our," or "us") handles refunds for our events, services, and merchandise. By purchasing any products or services from THC, you agree to this Refund Policy.

EVENT TICKETS & REGISTRATIONS
Hackathons and Competitions
- Free Events: No refunds are needed as these events are free to attend
- Paid Events: Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event start date
- After 7 Days: No refunds will be issued unless the event is cancelled by THC
- Emergency Cancellations: Full refunds will be provided if we must cancel an event
Workshops and Training Sessions
- Full Refund: Available up to 48 hours before the session
- Partial Refund (50%): Available 24-48 hours before the session
- No Refund: Less than 24 hours before the session
- Rescheduling: Available once per registration for a future session
MERCHANDISE & PRODUCTS
Physical Merchandise
- Defective Items: Full refund or replacement within 30 days of delivery
- Wrong Size/Item: Exchange or refund within 14 days (customer pays return shipping)
- Change of Mind: Returns accepted within 14 days in original condition
- Custom/Personalized Items: No returns unless defective
Digital Products
- Course Materials: Refunds available within 7 days if not accessed
- Digital Downloads: No refunds once download is initiated
- Subscription Services: Prorated refunds for unused portions
REFUND PROCESS
How to Request a Refund
- Email us at refunds@techhorizonsclub.com
- Include your order number, event registration details, or purchase information
- Explain the reason for your refund request
- Provide any supporting documentation (if applicable)
Processing Times
- Review: We will review your request within 2-3 business days
- Approval: Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
- Credit Card: Refunds appear on your statement within 5-10 business days
- Bank Transfer: Direct refunds may take 3-5 business days
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
Medical or Emergency Situations
We understand that unexpected situations arise. If you cannot attend an event due to:
- Medical emergencies (documentation required)
- Family emergencies
- Travel restrictions or natural disasters
- COVID-19 related quarantine or illness
We will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis, even outside our normal refund windows.
THC Event Cancellations
- Full Cancellation: 100% refund to all participants
- Venue Change: Option to attend new venue or receive full refund
- Date Change: Option to attend new date or receive full refund
- Format Change: (e.g., in-person to virtual) Option for refund or attendance
NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS
The following items are generally not eligible for refunds:
- Event fees paid less than 24 hours before the event
- Completed courses or workshops that were fully attended
- Digital products that have been downloaded or accessed
- Custom or personalized merchandise (unless defective)
- Promotional or discounted items marked as "final sale"
- Administrative fees and processing charges
REFUND METHODS
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase:
- Credit/Debit Cards: Refunded to the original card
- PayPal: Refunded to your PayPal account
- Bank Transfer: Refunded to the originating account
- Cash Payments: Refunded via check or bank transfer
In some cases, we may issue store credit or transfer your registration to a future event as an alternative to a monetary refund.
EXCHANGES AND TRANSFERS
Event Registration Transfers
- Transfer to another person: Allowed up to 48 hours before the event
- Transfer to future event: Subject to price differences and availability
- One free transfer per registration; additional transfers may incur fees
Merchandise Exchanges
- Size exchanges: Free within 14 days (subject to availability)
- Color/style exchanges: Allowed within 14 days (customer pays shipping)
- Store credit: Available for items that cannot be exchanged
